We painted Daniels bedroom, celebrated our 9th anniversary and waited for spring.

February

We all stayed at The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club. Mike had a Pharmacy class he was taking so the rest of us tagged along and hung out in Madison for a couple of days. After we got home we called them to order pillows for all of us. They were the nicest we'd used in years.


This month also begins our year long relationship with the DENTIST. Cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, sealants, oh my... They wanted to put Journey under general anesthesia to fix all of his teeth but we took the wait and see approach. So far so good. They're still rotten and pitted but haven't seemed to get much worse.

Piper got chicken pox on the 10th - not too bad. Journey got 'em next on the 15th and Danny got them on the 27th. The boys had it a lot worse than Pipes did.

My friend Gina came up for a visit and we met at Red lobster for Daniels 5th Birthday. He picked out a live lobster and ate the whole thing. We were stunned.

March

Jill came over for our final prenatal appointment on the 7th. Kheon was born at home on the 14th at 12:03am. His birth weight was 9 pounds 3 ounces just like his sister. While journey slept on our bed his little brother was born just a couple feet away. My mom arrived by bus from California the following day. I felt bad she missed it. Piper was disappointed - she wanted him to be her baby sister, but she was an excellent photographer.

Piper and dad each had a birthday.

April

My mom left but not before we made her watch 3 seasons of LOST. Season 4 aired on the 24th. My midwife had her baby.

May

Can't remember.

June

Met my Dad, Sara, Grandma, and Grandpa in Door county for a couple of days. Started selling Usborne Books. Had several parties and did some training in Green Bay.

July

Did some mushroom hunting and found some Chants. Went to the regatta at the Lake for the 4th of July. Mike started seeing a cardiologist in Green bay for rate control and had a couple of echos along with some other procedures.

October

More cardiology and dental appointments. We dissected a mouse (Daniels idea) We went trick-or-treating in Milwaukee at Gina's house.

November

Piper and I went to see The magic tree house at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Mike went to see a new Cardiologist in Madison for new procedure but was eventually turned down for it.

December

Picked up oranges from tree-ripe in Antigo (first time in a long time) We all got a mild cold, Kheon had his first cold. We baked some cookies. Gina came up an celebrated Yule with us.
